Call the Oklahoma Governor Today! Say NO to Horse Slaughter

HB1999 and SB375 must go back to committee and then back to the floor for another vote if they make it out of committee. We should know sometime today what committees they have been assigned to and take note: The public CAN and SHOULD attend these meetings.When you phone, e mail or fax ask for your call or write at the top of your e mail to be “FOR THE RECORD”. Keep it simple, factual, and above ALL polite and professional no matter how they behave towards you or how you feel about horse slaughter.The elected officials work for US and they want to stay in office. You are truly their boss no matter how you feel or what you think about the government and how it looks on the outside to you.

YOU have a wallet and you are a consumer. Think about the impact you could have on the folks lining the pockets of legislators based on what YOU buy.

This decision is not just a State decision. This decision will have ramifications nationwide. VOTE NO on HB1999 and SB375 in committee and on the floor. Do NOT let them fool you by saying “It’s already a done deal” which they WILL do!
